Connected Family Therapy is a MFT-specialized practice.
Welcome to Connected Family Therapy! We are passionate about helping support couple and family relationships.
Hi, I'm Anna! I am the Owner and Clinical Supervisor of Connected Family Therapy.
As a seasoned LMFT, I have extensive experience working with youth, individuals, families, and couples. My clients want support with life transitions, identity, communication, personal growth, relationships, depression/anxiety, grief/loss, ADHD, Autism, and OCD. I work from a neurodiverse affirming practice/lens and specialize working with neurodiversity. I have ADHD. My clients want a safe place to feel seen, known, understood and connected.
I have a special place in my heart for working with families and couples and have advanced EFT training. I work with all clients from a systemic perspective. I focus on how people function in relationships with those around them, as well as ask about what is going on inside them. I incorporate SFBT and EFT as they relate to treatment.
I have a Masters of Science: Marriage and Family Therapy and Masters of Education: School Counseling. Both are from Seattle Pacific University. I have been fully licensed as a counselor since 2014. I supervise the work of other therapists in training. I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and AAMFT Clinical Fellow. I am an instructor in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Arizona Christian University.
Personally, I grew up near Seattle and moved to Phoenix in 2021. I have been married for over 20 years to my husband. I have a tween, a teen, and a pug. I am a life long learner! I enjoy going to group exercise classes at Mountainside Fitness.
I invite you to reach out for a strengths based approach that is trauma informed. I offer openness, curiosity, and respect as a counselor. I have extensive experience in childhood and adolescent therapy, family, and couple therapy. My passion is couple and family relationships! I welcome all of your hopes and fears. I will join you in them.
As a LMFT, I value mentorship in my own practice. I am committed to doing the same for new therapists to give back to my MFT profession. I offer lower cost/ sliding scale sesions with a graduate level intern to reach more of our community. My MFT intern, Leanna Chayeb, Marriage and Family Intern from Arizona Christian University, treats families, couples, kids, teens, and adults with a speciality in disabilities and illness. Leanna is only $50 a session with telehealth and in person therapy for AZ clients. Leanna@connectedfamilytherapyaz.com
